Amy Sarah La2016-10-31_09-09-35_322-2016-11-16t14_21_23-885Mena is a veteran educator and public speaker. She holds degrees in Biology and Secondary Education from Fordham University, and has taught in educational institutions both public and private, foreign and domestic, since the late 1990s.

A regular contributor to local theater, her works have been featured in several local playhouses in the Capital District of NY, and as far as Massachusetts.  Her latest script is a murder mystery dinner that is currently in production as a fundraiser for Schenectady Civic Players.

Amy Sarah has created remarks and presentations for the classroom, professional development workshops, and theaters. She formerly authored Cheap and Wise – a blog for frugal households, which offered humor, advice, and tutorials for home makers. Recently she has begun ghostwriting for individuals, including toasts and speeches, and small businesses, such as copy content for product labels.
